Tradewind are very lucky to be working alongside a brilliant mainstream primary school based in Westminster, who are on the search for committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support in their Early Years department.
About the school:
The school has a number of newly built departments
Incredibly effective and supportive SLT
Keen on investing in their staff, offering you an opportunity to develop your professional skills
A vibrant and dynamic environmentAbout the role:
Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Long-term role commencing in September 2024 and will last until at least July 2025
You will be required to support groups moderate and severe learning difficulties
Pupils will be ages 4 - 5 years
Incorporate the EYFS curriculum and "learning through play"
You may be required to lead intervention group sessions
Work 1:1 with pupils who require extra support
Encourage the use of visual learning materialsRequirements:
Minimum of 3 months' experience working with children
SEN experience / understanding is ideal but not essential
Confident and willing to support children with complex needs is essential
