A high end independent Opticians based in Oxted, Surrey are looking for an Optical Assistant to work 4 or 5 days a week.Optical Assistant - RoleBeautiful, modern independent OpticiansAdvanced practice with a focus on patient care and qualityAccess to a wide range of designer framesFirst point of contact for all patientsMeeting and greeting patientsDispensing frames and lenses to all levels, including varifocalsProviding contact lens adviceTaking measurements and making any necessary adjustmentsBooking appointments and dealing with adminEnsuring excellent levels of customer service at all timesBetween £25,000 to £27,000 (Pro rata if part time)The role is to work 4 or 5 days a week including most Saturdays.Opening hours from 9am to 5.30pm (3.30pm on a Sat)20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata if part time)1 additional days holiday for birthdays.Simply HealthStaff discounts - as well as family and friendsOptical Assistant - RequirementsPrevious experience of working as an Optical Assistant, Optical Advisor or Dispensing AssistantAble to dispense spectaclesEnjoy building relationships with clientsExcellent communication skills: clear verbal and written communication with active listening skillsAble to deliver superb customer serviceTo avoid missing out on this opportunity, please send your CV across to Rebecca Wood using the 'Apply' link as soon as possible
