Zest Business Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting patient needs, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, surrounded by a team of experienced optometrists and support staff. Our modern and well-equipped independent Opticians offers access to a wide range of designer frames and lenses, including varifocals.

Your duties will include meeting and greeting patients, dispensing frames and lenses, taking measurements, making adjustments, and booking appointments. You will also be responsible for dealing with administrative tasks and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Salary: between £25,000 to £27,000 (pro rata if part time)
  • Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays (pro rata if part time) and one additional day off for birthdays

We require a candidate with previous experience working as an Optical Assistant, Optical Advisor, or Dispensing Assistant. Excellent communication skills, active listening skills, and the ability to deliver superb customer service are essential for this role.
