Our client is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic If youve got Experience with Inspections and servicing tyre services brake work suspensions and MOT Repairs we want to hear from you About the Role You will be responsible for inspecting servicing and repairing a varied stock of used vehicles. That includes check batteries lights exhausts tyres brakes suspension as well as repair or replace other faulty parts and ensuring that every car leaving the workshop meets high safety and quality standards. There will also be occasions where youll liaise with customers to explain issues advise on repairs and ensure vehicles are roadworthy without short: youll keep vehicles moving reliably safely and looking good. They pride themselves on offering vehicles that are free from advisory MOT issues each one fully checked and inspected before sale and that customers leave assured with no hidden problems. The workshop is part of a dealership that emphasises honesty transparency and quality of workmanship in a friendly environment where people really value what you bring. Working Hours Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Key Duties Conduct full servicing and routine maintenance on a variety of used vehiclesRepair or replace car partsPrepare cars for sale: MOT-prep safety checks rectifying advisories ensuring all work is fully logged and compliantWork alongside sales and customer service to understand repair requests and explain faults clearly to customersMaintain workshop tools equipment and work area; ensure cleanliness safety and efficiency Key Requirements Hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic or fast fit mechanic. Organised with attention to detail Good communicator: able to explain faults to customers in plain terms when needed Appropriate tools or ability to use standard workshop equipment confidently Valid UK Driving Licence2 years experience in similar role.
