Administrative Assistant

Location: Fulwood Hospital, Preston

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00)

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Fulwood Hall Hospital was opened as a purpose built facility in 1986. In 2009 the hospital completed a £9m pound investment to refurbish and expand the site, making it the largest independent hospital in Lancashire and one of the largest in the north of England.

The hospital has six consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities and a brand new physio and sports therapy department including gymnasium.

The role:

We are seeking a highly committed Inpatient Bookings Administrator to work within our busy Admissions Department.  This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a team committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes. You will support the admissions team in ensuring patients and consultants are provided a first class service during the theatre booking process.  You will be expected to answer admission queries, both NHS and private, in a professional, timely manner, conveying excellent customer service throughout.
