Science teacher- Fantastic school in Brent- April start

The successful Science teacher will join a supportive and vibrant school environment in Brent, where they will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic students and a committed staff. The school is dedicated to providing an outstanding education to its students and encouraging their curiosity and passion for science. The Science teacher will play a vital role in fostering a love for the subject and inspiring students to excel in their studies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and supports the individual needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement improvements to the Science curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and address any concerns
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to contribute to the wider school community
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Science or a related field
- Experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning and training
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons and assess student progress
