Managers and applicants must note that all secondments are subject to agreement between the relevant departments and therefore the recruiting manager must speak with HRbeforeoffering a job on a secondment basis.*Senior Facilities OfficerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Facilities Officer to line manage and support a Team of Cleaners and Facilities Officers across multiple sites from Wallasey Town Hall to Solar Campus.About the role:This is a workplace based key supervisory role in which you will supervise and support a multi-disciplinary team across several sites ensuring our buildings are clean safe secure and fit for purpose. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.You will support both staff and public service-delivery and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness compliance customer service and operational efficiency.About the Candidate:We would like to hear from you if you have extensive customer service cleaning and facilities operations experience.You will have knowledge and understanding of cleaning methods and techniques and Facilities Management duties. These will include but not be limited to Health & Safety and legislative requirements administration of timesheets and absence management planning and supporting shift rotas monitoring and delivering stocks of consumables.You will also need to demonstrate your ability to supervise and support a multi disciplined team of staff. You will have experience of successfully working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and be able to manage your workload prioritise issues as they arise and follow established Council procedures and best practice.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and varied environment.
