Rates: 500 GBP per day inside IR35
Job Description:
- Company is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) whose primary responsibilities will be to lead a team of technical engineering resources in the standup and transition of new clients into the Company Data Center, implement our client’s system upgrades/improvements as well as serve as clients contact point for Tier 3 O&M support. The TDM role is the interface between the client, the Elasticsearch Architecture ang Elasticsearch Engineering team.
- The TDM will be responsible for assigning resources to projects and meeting/maintaining schedules across multiple accounts in parallel with IT upgrade projects within the Federal Data Center.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- 7+ years of experience managing all aspects of project transitions for on and off-boarding customers; including development of project tasks as necessary with input from the client, Technical Account teams and Elasticsearch Engineering and Architecture teams.
- 7+ years of demonstrated ability to manage multiple offerings and environments across a wide variety of customers with differing requirements.
- 7+ years of experience allocating resources appropriately to meet client/program needs and minimize resource contention.
- 7+ years of experience coordinating stakeholder meetings.
- 7+ years of experience creating / Managing an integrated master project plan across multiple offerings.
- 7+ years of experience utilizing PM professional skills to enhance the level of service and quality of client deliverables.
- Ability to collect technical inputs and create solutions to meet client requirements.
- Candidate must have managed an IT team in the past.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
- 3+ years of knowledge and experience with Information Technology (IT) services and either traditional and/or cloud-based environments.
- Skills in a formal PM discipline (PMI or another PM accreditation is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience with security compliance guidelines for moderate and high impact baselines.
- Active Secret or Top-Secret Security clearance.
- 3+ years of demonstrated knowledge of the client's industry, key business issues, and priorities.
- ITIL V3 Certification preferred.
- Ability to provide integrated master schedule updates to the client, Engineering and Architecture, as well as client/program facing teams and SDMs.
