Hyde is looking to recruit a Site Reliability Engineer.

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Hyde, you will be working within the Cloud Infrastructure Team to assist in the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our cloud environments and ensure the reliable operation of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all cloud environments are built and maintained using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Github.
  • Automate repetitive and complex processes to increase release velocity and reduce the impact of human error.
  • Provide primary operational support and respond to alerts, ensuring optimal availability, latency, and performance.
  • Hands-on management of continuous build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Enhance the service's tech stack and configurations to improve site performance and scalability.
  • Manage capacity and performance planning, including risk and disaster response.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Terraform, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of automation and IaC principles.
  • Experience in managing and optimising production systems for reliability and performance.
