Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading business in the Barnsley area, who are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team to support during a period of business change and growth. This role will initially be on a temporary basis for c. 3 months, but there may be scope for permanency for the right candidate We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Ledger professional who has proven B2B and B2C debt collection / account reconciliation experience to be able to jump in and hit the ground running Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:Raising all sales invoices for customersEnsuring customers pay within their agreed payment termsChasing outstanding customer payment via email, letter, and phoneProcessing and reconciling card paymentsAllocation of paymentsSetting up new customersSending copy invoices where requiredScanning sales invoices, renaming, and filingRequired experience for Credit Controller:At least 2 years’ experience of working in a credit control role.Analytical skills and thorough attention to detailBe competent using Microsoft OfficeAbility to build strong working relationships both internally and externallyGood communications skills both verbal and written.Ability to manage workload and prioritise.Excellent customer serviceAttention to detailThe ability to listen and negotiate with customers.Excellent verbal communicationsIf you match the specified criteria and you are interested in discussing the position in more detail, please do not hesitate to contact Hannah Guy
