THE ROLE. As our Virtual Production Creative Specialist at Foundry, you will act as a bridge between production teams and post-production artists, showcasing the power of Nuke Stage in modern VFX pipelines focused on virtual production. You’ll design, build, and deliver compelling creative content that demonstrates real-world workflows, while collaborating with customers, internal product teams, and the wider creative community.A key aspect of the role will be to guide prospective users through their entire evaluation journey, from initial installation and exploration to deeper workflow integration.Reporting to the Regional Head of Creative Services, your responsibilities will require you to possess technical, creative, and people skills that enable you to showcase our software and onboard our prospective on implementing and using our software.Overall, you will act as Foundry’s external advocate for our products and support customers both pre- and post-sales, as well as prepare content for training and marketing purposes.Job RequirementsTHE ESSENTIALS.5 years experience in production and or post production.Hands-on experience in a VFX production, on-set, or post-production environment using virtual production pipelines.Experience with compositing workflows (e.g., Nuke) and knowledge of the CG/VFX post-production pipeline, including a basic understanding of USD in a production environment.Demonstrable, hands-on experience with the on-set virtual production pipeline and its core technologies, such as Unreal Engine, Disguise, LiveFX, or Pixera.Knowledge and familiarity with LED hardware, camera systems and tracking technologies, including networking and synchronisation, such as genlock.Ability to work independently in an impactful manner.Strong knowledge of 2D/3D workflows, techniques, and applications.Strong oral and written communication skills addressing various groups of customers: technical, business, and/or project management.Excellent communication skills.Eagerness to learn new techniques and constantly expand software knowledge.Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time, as required.THE NICE TO HAVE, KEEN TO LEARN.Knowledge of ACES, OCIO, and multi-shot or large-scale production workflows.Previous experience in a customer-facing role (demo artist, trainer, or technical specialist).Job ResponsibilitiesSupport prospective customers through the early stages of the sales pipeline, leading technical discovery calls, creating proof-of-concept demos, and managing the onboarding process to ensure successful evaluation and adoption.Provide hands-on, on-set support for key customers during live virtual production shoots, acting as a real-time technical expert to troubleshoot issues and ensure the successful integration of our tools.Build high-quality demo projects, tutorials, and proof-of-concepts that showcase Nuke Stage for production use cases.Create assets, scenes, and comps that demonstrate integration of Nuke Stage working alongside Nuke with USD, and a production pipeline.Partner with the product team to test and validate features, providing feedback from a creative/production perspective.Engage with early-access users and studios, helping them adopt and optimize Nuke Stage in their pipelines.Support our learning and development content strategy (videos, documentation, presentations) that accelerates customer onboarding and drives the commercial adoption of our tools.Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, acting as a technology evangelist and showcasing our software's capabilities.Support customer demos, presentations, and events as the subject-matter expert for Nuke Stage.Represent the creative team at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.Build relationships with studios and artists to capture real-world feedback and success stories.Benefits25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme & life assuranceHealth cash plan & medical insuranceSeason ticket loanCompany’s social eventsGym DiscountsPersonal Annual Development TimePassion DaysAnniversary Day offTHE COMPANY.Foundry has a heritage of more than 25 years, developing creative software for the Media and Entertainment industry.
