Whats on Offer for a Senior Controls Engineer: Base salary up to £57,000 (depending on experience) Exceptional company pension scheme Regular paid overtime opportunities Annual bonus scheme Company car option available Early Friday finish every week Ongoing professional development and career progression Work within a state-of-the-art, high-tech engineering facility Key ResponsibilitiesSenior Controls Engineer: Lead and support automation and control systems across a complex production site. Deliver advanced PLC programming and integration solutions for Siemens S7, TIA Portal and other mainstream Plc platforms. Collaborate with Maintenance, Project and CI teams to identify root causes, implement improvements and enhance system reliability. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a highly automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidate RequirementsSenior Controls Engineer: We are looking for a candidate with: Strong background in Plc programming, fault finding and control systems design. Significant experience with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or equivalent Plc platforms. Proven ability to work in automation driven manufacturing environments. Experience leading projects, upgrades and process improvements within controls/automation. A track record of delivering system reliability and efficiency gains in production settings. This role is ideal for a seasoned Controls Engineer seeking to utilise their expertise in a technically challenging role while influencing the future of a world-class manufacturing operation. Location & Commutable Areas: Easily commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Coleshill, Atherstone and across the West Midlands.
