Trainee Events ManagerLocation: Gloucester – MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCEHours: Fulltime, PermanentSalary: £26,000 per annum plus bonus – EXCELLENT CAREER PROGRESSIONOur client is looking for a Trainee Events Manager to join their team. If you have a passion for the events industry and thrive on planning, managing, and evaluating events, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Events Manager * Support all logistical administration, ensuring compliance with event requirements, health and safety legislation, food hygiene, and other necessary regulations. * Oversee and manage small events. * Plan events, providing diverse offerings and meeting all logistical and safety standards. * Create detailed information packs. * Supervise event setup, coordinating the placement of units and equipment. * Manage event setup and breakdown, including décor and seating arrangements. * Monitor sub-contractor performance during events. * Oversee post-event breakdown and site cleanup. * Assist with credit control and resolve sub-contractor payment issues. * Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact. * Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.Key Skills of a Trainee Events Manager * Happy to work long hours, staying away from home in the summer time. * Must have a full UK driving licence. * Experience in either events, hospitality or the sporting / music industry. * Willing to get stuck in and work hard to ensure smooth running of an event * Fully IT literate * Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure. * Positive and self-motivated. * Resilient, persistent, and good attention to detail. * Honest and trustworthy.For more info please get in contact with Katie at First Base Emplyoment
