General Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Tipton United Kingdom. As a General Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and excellent customer service.Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentationSupport hospitality services as required ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and guestsMaintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen dining and service areasCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations across all areasProvide friendly and professional customer service to students staff and visitorsUndertake various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facilityAssist with stock management and inventory controlSupport the set-up and breakdown of events or meetings as neededAdapt to changing priorities and assist in other areas of the organisation as requiredQualifications : Experience in a catering food service or customer-facing environment is desirable but not essentialBasic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices; Level 1 Food Safety Certificate is advantageousStrong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and a friendly customer-focused attitudeKeen attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisationFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work various shifts including weekends and evenings if requiredAbility to multitask and prioritise workload efficientlyBasic computer skills for administrative tasksPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weightsA positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesAdditional Information : For almost 20 years for every client in every location (whether thats an office stadium cathedral or university) we have created beautiful spaces exciting menus and friendly teams so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
