We are looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to assist in delivering our commercial strategy. Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, this role is crucial in driving online growth and enhancing the customer experience.


Collaborating closely with the Ecommerce Content, Growth & Acquisition Manager, you'll ensure that trading strategies align with digital marketing initiatives for maximum impact. You'll also develop a regional sales strategy, providing insights to ensure that content and communication are relevant across territories.


Your role will involve managing the product upload process, monitoring stock availability, coordinating with the merchandising team to ensure key products remain in stock, and managing the ecommerce trading calendar to capitalize on seasonal opportunities. Additionally, you'll oversee visual merchandising and online product displays, ensuring alignment with product launches and business goals.


You'll also work with third-party partners to implement front-end enhancements that improve the user experience and drive key performance indicators. Your efforts will help us stay relevant, competitive and ensure our ecommerce channels continue to grow and thrive.


Finally, you will be a key stakeholder in the order-to-cash process working closely with our Logistics, IT and Trade + Customer Services team to ensure all ecommerce orders are fulfilled within SLA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Building and leading regular reporting and the tracking key of KPIs including orders, conversion and AOV. Ensuring that reporting is shared daily, weekly and monthly with a focus on conveying top line performance to the business whilst identifying actions to improve overall performance.
  • Working closely with the wider team to provide regular insight into site performance including top-line category and product performance regionally to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Partnering with the Ecommerce Content, Growth & Acquisition Manager to ensure that both strategies are aligned, and opportunities are maximised.
  • Develop and maintain a regional sales strategy analysing each territory then providing the business with insights ensuring content and communication are regionally relevant.
  • Supporting ecommerce leadership and the wider business with sales forecasts for each territory across all KPIs.
  • Owning the ecommerce trading calendar ensuring that all seasonal trading opportunities are maximised through on-site content and optimisation.
  • Monitoring competitors and sector leaders and ensuring that TomDixon.net user experience and service proposition aligns with client expectations.
  • Owning all visual merchandising, online product display, product and content publishing across TomDixon.net, partnering with the global merchandising team to be ahead of product launches and business goals.
  • Assisting in the management of external digital retailers (e.g. Heals, Flannels, John Lewis) alongside marketplace platforms.
  • Working closely with several third parties to deliver front-end enhancements and changes across TomDixon.net to maximise the user experience and top-line KPIs.



Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, with a focus on trade
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
