JOB DUTIES

  • Processing and inputting a large volume of invoices.
  • Ensuring invoices are processed promptly, including following up with staff when goods are not booked in.
  • Managing the processing of company credit cards (10 in total).
  • Handling various recharge accounts.
  • Conducting payment runs in multiple currencies.
  • Completing Intrastat reports.
  • Demonstrating efficiency by setting up payments via BACS, emailing remittances, etc.
  • Verifying supplier banking details in a timely manner.
  • Setting up new suppliers in the system, ensuring all forms are correctly completed.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of purchase coding, including identifying invoices that need to be accrued or depreciated.
  • Promptly checking incoming statements from suppliers and requesting any necessary documents.
  • Learning and managing the sales ledger.
  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
  • Processing invoices and preparing and sending statements.
  • Monitoring bank transactions and posting receipts and payments in the system.
  • Handling credit assessments.
  • Negotiating payment plans with slow-paying customers.
  • Correctly allocating customer payments.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in emailing and filing.
  • Liaising with auditors and banks as needed.
  • Taking meeting minutes and demonstrating strong telephone skills.
  • Maintaining a high level of organisation with a proactive, go-to attitude.
