Position Overview:

Are you an experienced and dedicated pharmacist looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a significant impact? Our Care Centre in Barnsley is seeking a Responsible Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established centre with high footfall, offering both a challenging and rewarding environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of 4-5 support staff, including a non-Pharmacist manager (NVQ3 Qualified).
  • Work closely with the manager to offer moral support and guidance, helping to maximize team performance and morale.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Engage in regular communication with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure the pharmacy remains well-stocked and manage inventory efficiently.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a pharmacist, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to provide effective support to a non-Pharmacist team lead.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
