Purpose
As an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist, the key purpose of your role is to:
- Support the Head of Marketing and Demand Generation Manager in executing integrated marketing campaigns with high quality content
- Manage several key marketing channels, most notably physical and digital events and social media ensuring the delivery of key targets.
Your Responsibilities and Tasks
Event Management
- Work alongside the Demand Generation Manager to plan and document the annual event calendar, comprising webinars, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, customer user groups, and other innovative online formats, to meet the strategic needs of the business and in accordance with the annual budget.
- Contribute to the quarterly and annual integrated marketing plans for target regions and verticals, specifically in relation to the event channel.
- Project manage the event calendar using the assigned project management tool for effective cross-team collaboration and high quality event execution.
- Using the event messaging and content plan from the Head of Marketing, manage and execute the day-to-day requirements and deadlines to ensure marketing events are executed to the expected quality, on time and to budget.
- Work closely and collaboratively with all members of the Marketing team to ensure pre and post-event marketing activity and event logistics are executed to fulfil event KPIs.
Proactively engage with the Sales teams to co-ordinate, communicate and optimise the impact of events and meet the event KPIs.
- Evaluate, select and manage new event vendors as needed.
- Attend and oversee event execution, including running webinars, as required with the support of the Digital Marketing Assistant.
- Monitor and report on results of events, and analyse results to shape future event selection and planning.
- Keep ahead of industry trends and event developments to ensure Reveal is maximising all event marketing opportunities.
Content Creation & Management
- Develop a content marketing strategy to support the breadth of markets we operate in and their associated marketing objectives.
- Produce original written and visual content to support integrated marketing campaigns, in conjunction with the Demand Generation Manager and suppoted by the Digital Marketing Assistant, to ensure successful demand generation activity. Typical formats will include case studies, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, marketing and sales collateral, social media content, infographics, promotional items, and more.
- Ensure all produced content is in alignment with Reveal brand messaging, tone of voice and style guide.
- Ensure all produced content is syndicated and repurposed to its maximum potential, to support multiple markets and their associated marketing objectives.
- As appropriate, ensure content is optimized for SEO best practices.
Social Media Management
Develop and execute social media campaigns across platforms, to increase followers, engagement and support demand generation activity.
Monitor trends, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Manage and execute paid social advertising as appropriate to meet defined KPIs set by the Head of Marketing.
Your Qualifications, Technical Skills and Experience
Essential
- 5+ years marketing, content or marketing communications experience,
- 3+ years experience running successful international events marketing programmes, including virtual and physical events.
- Demonstrable experience in creating high-quality written and visual content, utilizing external agencies as needed.
Desirable
- Proven experience in developing and implementing a content marketing strategy
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Professional Marketing qualication i.e IDM, CIM etc.
- Proficient working with international vendors and teams
- Good working knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Canva and Asana.
