We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an engineering company, predominately doing shot-blasting, on a permanent basis in the Medway area. You must have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment. If you have previous fettling experience, that is advantageous. Your main duties will include: Processing of parts as instructedShot blasting of castingsManual HandlingMoving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeepingCompleting the relevant job cardsOccasional etching of castings using a vibro-etching toolOccasional operation of the band saw. There are two positions available, working 48 hours per week, either 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday or6.00am-16.30pm, Monday-Thursday and 06.00-14.30 Friday Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate.
