The Role:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Modern Languages lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your language specialism and experience.
- Foster a love of languages and cultures in students encouraging them to develop their communication skills in listening speaking reading and writing.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to experiment with language and explore different cultural perspectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Modern Languages curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their language acquisition and cultural understanding.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Modern Languages.
- A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Modern Languages.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- A passion for languages and cultures and a commitment to fostering global citizenship in young people.
