This role offers you the chance to hone your existing skills and gain valuable experience in a professional environment.This is a part-time role 25 hours, based in the Darlington office of my client (5 days – 10.00am – 3.00pm each day)The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, income and receipts, as well as helping to prepare financial statements, VAT returns, employee wages and expense claims. Additionally, you will be verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the External Accountant of any errors or inconsistencies.A deep understanding of financial management principles and an eye for detail are essential for this role. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Sage / Xero or similar accounting software, as well as excellent administrative and organisational skills.
