Job Title: Assistant SENDCo Location: SEN school close to Redhill Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £27,713 - £30,250 (depending on qualifications and experience) Bonus: £2,000 Welcome Bonus for candidates with SEN experience* Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time only - Start time: 8.15am, Finish times: Mon-Wed 4.45pm, Thu 5pm, Fri 4pmYour new companyWe are delighted to be supporting a brand-new specialist secondary school in Chaldon, Surrey, in September 2025. The school will cater for young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. With small class sizes, high levels of classroom support, and a dedicated multidisciplinary intervention team, our students will have every opportunity to thrive. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at the very start of its journey and help shape its inclusive ethos. Your new roleThe Assistant SENDCo will work closely with the SENDCo to promote an inclusive approach to SEN across the school. You will also support staff, students, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners.
