Job description Deputy SENDCO based in CamdenStart Date: Immediate Salary: Paid to Scale Are you passionate about making sure every young person gets the support they need to succeed?A school based in Camden is seeking a caring, committed, and experienced Deputy SENDCO to join our team immediately. The Role As Deputy SENDCO, you’ll work closely with our SENDCO to ensure that students with additional needs receive the very best support. You’ll help to: QTS is required, they won’t necessarily need to teach though (up for negotiation) Will be completing annual reviews, parent meetings and local authority meetings so need to be confident in liaising with stakeholders and making key decisions for students with SEN Completing ECHNA applications and creating/updating pupil passports Liaise with teachers and teaching assistants to undertake plan do reviews Contribute to the SEN register Conduct line management meeting with some of our teaching assistants About the school a modern and welcoming secondary school in Camden.
