The company has many sites across the UK, operating across 6 regions and 29 operating divisions. Purpose: Produce all standard Group House type Working Drawings and Standard Details from Design drawings. Collating Technical Specifications, liaising with Group Suppliers and supporting Operational Divisions.Responsible to: Group Senior Architectural TechnicianResponsibilities: Provide knowledge of Building construction and technology to the team.Produce Working and Detailed drawings of new House types.Work to be a genuine interpretation of the designs, to be technically accurate, clear, in full accordance with all.Technical Regulations and to a programme.Update/Revise existing House types as required.Liaise and provide back up to Divisions providing them with information and dealing with any queries that arise from the office and/or sites.Encourage feedback on House types from Divisions.Check and monitor all 3rd Party information relating to House types.Communicate with Regions/ Divisions both at office and site level.Communicate with all Regulatory bodies required.Personal characteristics / qualifications and skills:Qualified as an Architectural Technician/Technologist to HNC level as a minimumAutodesk Revit experience essentialGood organisation and Task Management skills.A good technical knowledge of current regulations and associated legislation.Excellent presentation skillsAn eloquent communicator interfacing with Divisional teams, sites and regulatory bodies.Aware of costs and customer focused.Able to work well in a team
