Our client is one of the foremost law firms in the South West, known for its friendly and supportive culture. They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their busy Residential Property Department in Exeter.

Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support to fee earners in the Residential Property team
  • Manage files in conjunction with fee earners
  • Maintain regular contact with estate agents, solicitors, brokers, and clients
  • Handle correspondence and enquiries
  • Assist with exchanging contracts and completing transactions
  • Carry out daily administrative tasks within the department
Legal Assistant Requirements:
  • Previous conveyancing experience or professional services background is beneficial but not essential
  • Keen interest in learning new skills and developing technical knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to balancing day-to-day priorities
  • Experience working in a busy office environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Natural understanding of clients' needs and commitment to delivering outstanding service
