Typical Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create or amend JPA entries as requested and approved by the line manager, checking all changes for accuracy highlighting any discrepancies.
Inform the originator when JPA action is complete and advise any queries.
Check amendments made by automation systems for accuracy and record changes as required.
Ensure all significant changes are accurately recorded on the appropriate tracker for stakeholders to action as necessary.
File relevant emails and supporting documents appropriately to maintain a full audit trail.
Investigate any queries raised, retrieve old emails/audit trails, and carry out audits of JPA data as required.
Act as a whole force team member across the WCM team, and as a shared resource across the Workforce Planning & Talent SWP area, assisting with any emergent projects requiring JPA changes.

Person specification
Were looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our Whole Force Team. Working alongside a small, Military-focused team, they will ensure that changes to our Military Workforce are implemented successfully.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver work at pace, whilst maintaining close attention to detail and adjust to changing priorities as directed. They will be able to work and communicate successfully across teams and be effective at sharing knowledge and information as required. Good IT skills, particularly in Excel and MS Office, are essential for the role.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.
