Youll help plan and manage Streetworks so that everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time.Youll work closely with project managers to build clear, practical plans. Youll speak with local councils to get the right permits. Youll also keep in touch with field teams and subcontractors to make sure everyone knows whats happening and when.Your job is to keep things moving. That means solving problems quickly, keeping people safe, and making sure we follow the rules. Youll help avoid delays and reduce disruption for the public.Youll also keep good records, track progress, and share updates with the team. If something goes wrong, youll help fix itand work out how to stop it happening again.This is a hands-on role for someone whos organised, calm under pressure, and good with people. You understand how to plan and manage work on the roads. You know what permits are needed and how to get them. Youre familiar with the rules and regulations that apply, and you make sure theyre followed.Youre a strong communicator. You can explain things clearly, whether youre speaking to a local council, a subcontractor, or someone on your team. Youre just as confident writing updates and reports as you are talking things through in person.Youre organised and focused. You can handle several tasks at once and still meet your deadlines. You know how to set priorities and keep things moving, even when plans change. Youre good at spotting problems early and finding practical ways to fix them. You stay calm under pressure and make decisions with confidence. Youre not afraid to take the lead when needed.Youre comfortable using software to plan and track work. You know how to keep records up to date and share the right information with the right people.
