If you are community driven and have experience coaching and developing young people, this is therole for you JOB TITLE: Education Coordinator/Sports Tutor SALARY: £19,000.00 - £22,500.00 HOURS: 8:00 - 16:00 (Monday - Friday) LOCATION: NG2 THE ROLE: " Teach and be responsible for the development and learning of BTEC/NCFE Level 1, 2 & 3 in sport to a wide range of young individuals aged 14-25. " Fully contribute to the pastoral support programmes " Implement effective strategies to support a variety of teaching and learning styles " To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. " Ensure that work is marked in accordance with the education provider guidelines to ensure timely feedback to students. " To comply with requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act " Act as a positive role model to students, and handle behavioral matters appropriately according to regulations and procedures of the organization THE SUCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED: " A sports degree or a sports vocational qualification " Strong organization skills, the ability to prioritize workload and work independently " Strong written and verbal skills " Experience in safeguarding within a school setting is desirable " Experience delivering sessions and/or presentations " GCSE'S in Math's and English BENEFITS: " 20 days annual leave plus all school holidays " Pay day drinks and social activities " 3% employer pension contribution " Gym Membership " Access to a mental health specialist provided by the company
