Are you ready to take the next step in your career within the dynamic realm of Intellectual Property (IP) law? Our client, a distinguished IP firm based in London, is seeking a dedicated Trade Mark Records and Formalities Officer to join its esteemed team. 

As a Trade Mark Records and Formalities Officer, you will play a pivotal role within the Firm’s Trademark Records Team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide meticulous records and formalities support to our partners and fee earners. Your attention to detail and organisational prowess will ensure the seamless management of trademark records, supporting the firm's commitment to excellence in IP services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and filing new trademark applications in the UK, EU and other jurisdictions
  • Opening new files and managing existing cases on the record system
  • Dealing with incoming post or other mail items, updating records system
  • Updating records system to reflect filings and outgoing correspondence
  • Covering for colleagues and demonstrating a flexible and adaptive approach to tasks and workload
  • Dealing with ad hoc/miscellaneous requests

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience of Trade Mark Records and Formalities work
  • Strong knowledge of trademark records management and formalities procedures
  • Proficiency in using trademark databases and software systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under pressure
