Our client, a global leader in casing running environments, who is on a huge growth surge, is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to drive their market penetration in Europe.


This is a broad role, requiring an understanding of the cultural and political sensitivities and motivators of the region and knowledge of where the growth areas are.


Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer and working closely with the VP of Global Engineering, this role will include:


·        Assist with the development and lead the implementation of agreed business strategies by customer by country.

·        Build and develop network with key customers

·        Ensure compliance with all contractual matters

·        Share product and customer knowledge with other regional sales managers

·        Proactively develop innovative commercial offerings

·        Conduct technical presentations for customers

·        Introduce new products and product enhancements to customers

·        Expand product awareness with customers

·        Assess opportunities to enter new market segments

·        Attend suitable trade shows, customer events and promotional activities

·        Continue to build product knowledge

·        Timely monthly reporting to GAMs


This role would suit a candidate with actual experience of well drilling and completions. A lateral thinker who is able to meet any challenges and design solutions with a real technical understanding of the potential issues. Someone who can take the complex and technical and explain in understandable terms when designing solutions utilising client products.


This is an entrepreneurial role, requiring a self-starter, motivated to succeed and the holder of an Engineering or similar degree.
