Position Overview:

The Event Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales and managing client relationships for a select portfolio of unique venues, including prestigious livery halls. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue, creating tailored proposals, and ensuring seamless execution of events in collaboration with our operations team. This role is ideal for a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for event management and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned venues.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
    • Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the unique features and benefits of our venues to prospective clients.
    • Create and present tailored proposals and quotations, negotiating effectively to close sales.
  • Event Management:
    • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
    • Liaise with internal teams, including operations, culinary, and service staff, to ensure the successful delivery of events.
    • Provide ongoing support and communication to clients throughout the planning and execution phases.
    • Attend events to ensure smooth handovers to operations and address any client concerns or last-minute changes.
  • Venue & Client Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned venues, building strong relationships with venue managers and key stakeholders.
    • Maintain a deep knowledge of the venues, including their features, capacities, and unique selling points.
    • Regularly update and manage the CRM system to track sales activity, client interactions, and event details.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager, including insights on market trends and client feedback.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event sales, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or events industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience working with unique or heritage venues, including livery halls, is highly desirable.
