Each day as a graduate will offer new opportunities and challenges ensuring no two days feel the same.Engineering within the Data Centre Facilities Team is about developing highly resilient Mechanical systems required to cool and support the critical processes within Modern Data Centres both sustainability and reliably.As a graduate electrical engineer at Ramboll you will be involved in the design and delivery of highly resilient electrical power systems and a wide range of ancillary support systems. You will also develop a rich understanding of building physics and sustainable design solutions that will inform the Data Centre Facilities engineering design principles.You will become a part of the Buildings department which includes the Data Centre Facilities team Building Services Structures Civil Facades Acoustics and many other specialist teams. Your role will allow you to collaborate with all disciplines providing growth and knowledge to enhance your engineering competence.You can join an industry where your skills and passion can help power the digital world driving innovative solutions and making a lasting impact on our interconnected society. Your skills and experienceFor this role we believe your starting point is:A BEng MEng or MSc level degree in a relevant engineering subjectInterest in the design of mission critical facilities especially electrical systemsAn active curiosity around building physics and sustainable design solutionsDemonstrable aptitude to learn computer programming languages and complex data manipulation and processingDemonstrable aptitude to learn and understand the principals of power system analysis using industry softwareAbility to summarise and present complex engineering concepts via different channelsAn interest in Digital Automation and OptimisationWe dont expect you to know everything but that you show curiosity take responsibility and want to deliver high-quality work.
