Commissioning Lead - Central London - 12 Months - Competitive Rate We are currently working with an established M&E Contractor who are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead for a large-scale commercial development project in the heart of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site commissioning activities, including those performed by subcontractors and direct labour. You will establish and implement commissioning procedures to ensure all systems are inspected, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards. As a key member of the commissioning team, you will represent our client's values of integrity, dependability, safety, pride, and quality. Key Knowledge and Experience Comprehensive understanding of the Commissioning Lead roleStrong commercial awarenessFamiliarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental systemsAwareness of team strengths and development needsRoles and Responsibilities Oversee the commissioning process and deliver fully operational M&E systems to clientsAttend meetings with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to support M&E systems deliveryLead by example, upholding high standards of safety and qualityCoordinate with other trades to ensure a smooth commissioning processIdentify required test equipment and ensure its proper useManage ITCA activities with Project Engineers and maintain the ITCA trackerAssist Project Engineers with compiling handover packs, QA/QC documentation, and inspection reportsManage subcontractor testing and commissioning activities, including witness testing and documentation reviewPrepare and review Commissioning and Testing RAMSSupport the production of ‘as-built' documentation and Health & Safety FilesConduct quality control inspections during pre-commissioning and commissioning stagesEnsure contractor commissioning activities are properly coordinated and completed to required standardsResolve commissioning issues promptly and maintain detailed site reportsCommunicate progress effectively to key stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineersProvide people management support to the Project ManagerEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and EHS training requirementsSupport HR processes, including grievance and disciplinary procedures when requiredEnsure commissioning personnel are trained, competent, and working safely in line with company standardsFor more information, please contact Stephen Tiigah -TPBN1_UKTJ
