Data Analyst - (Grafana / SQL / Blockchain)

 

Role Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and take charge of our data visualization and infrastructure management. This role is crucial in maintaining our organization's hosting infrastructure and visualization application as part of our comprehensive monitoring stack.

Reporting to the Head of Research, you'll ensure front-end is consistently updated, showcasing all assets and metrics we track using various APIs and data from public sources. You'll also be responsible for maintaining our SQL database hosted on Google Cloud.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced SQL skills to efficiently extract, process, and analyse data from diverse databases
  • Develop and maintain dynamic Grafana dashboards and reports
  • Leverage crypto industry data sources including Artemis, TokenTerminal, Coingecko, DefiLlama, and Dune
  • Process and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured blockchain datasets
  • Collaborate with the Head of Research to design and implement visually compelling, innovative dashboards
  • Proactively maintain both front-end visualizations and back-end hosting infrastructure


Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Finance
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, including SQL database configuration and maintenance, and proficiency in writingSQL queries, triggers and functions.
  • Good visualization skills
  • Understand reading blockchain data and working with big data sets
  • Strong knowledge of Python scripting with proven experience of creating APIs
  • Proficiency in Grafana, including the ability to build, update and maintain monitoring dashboards
  • The ability to work autonomously and to proactively maintain both the front-end and hosting infrastructure.
  • Good communication skills.
