A leading, high-end events space requires an experienced Events Coordinator to play a crucial role in leading and managing their external event schedule on a permanent basis. This is a fabulous opportunity to work within a prestigious building in central London with an inspirational and collaborative team, and oversee the execution and delivery of conferences, dinner parties and celebrations for up to 500 people Flexibility to work regular evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinating external events, providing an excellent level of service with smooth operational execution.
  • Dealing with any issues quickly and efficiently to ensure a seamless customer service
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure an effective setup, staffing, and support for each event. Ensuring external services are organised.
  • Communicating effectively with the customer in order to capture and execute on their needs as best as possible.
  • Ensuring deposits and payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Creating detailed and accurate event plans to ensure cross functional teams have visibility around expectations and event timeframes.
  • Overseeing event execution from start to finish.
  • Providing post-event evaluations, analysing feedback from members and staff, and external clients, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conducting house tours with all prospective clients.
  • Working with the events team to track all events enquiries.

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Previous experience in event coordinating preferably in a high-end hospitality, members club, or luxury hotel environment is essential
  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unforeseen issues with professionalism.
  • Must have flexibility to work regular evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices related to events.
