Goods in Operative - Temp at PermLocation: Dorking (MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE)Monday to Friday 8:00 till 16:30£12.25 to £12.50 depending on experienceAbout the clientOur client, a global manufacturer based in Dorking is looking for a Goods in Warehouse Operative to join their team. You will be a valued part of the ever-growing team and become part of a long-standing successful business.Responsibilities of Goods in Warehouse Operative: * Manage and enter data for goods received * Checking deliveries against order forms * Labelling of products * Assigning stock in required locations * Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment * Performs a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties. * Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. * Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. * Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.Skills and Aptitude Profile: * Previous experience working within Goods In * FLT licence is essential * Strong organisational and time management skills * Hands-on commitment to getting the job done * Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual (adapt to differing situations) * Computer literate with the ability to input and retrieve * Full UK driving Licence due to the location of the site * Good level of written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested and want to hear more information, please apply todayWe do receive a significant number of applications.
