The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining various motorcycles. TheMotorcycle Technician should have a strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills to ensure internal customer satisfaction. The staff officers and volunteers of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police are here so that the people we serve their families and our communities are safer. To deliver our quality public service it is vital we can call upon our dynamic Police Fleet.The successful applicant must be able to work under pressure and unsupervised on a variety of motorcycles fitted with police equipment. You must be capable of carrying out the repair process from fault finding right through to completion and all motorcycles repairs and maintenance to our police fleet should be carried out to a high standard.We currently have a vacancy at our Winchester workshop where your motorcycle maintenance and repair skills will be used to ensure the fleet is kept fully operational. You will be required to work on a variety of fleet motorcycles which includes high performance motorcycles for teams such as roads policing and armed response and motorcycles for public order operations which may be used across the UK for mutual aid operations.
