Seeking Java Developers of any level to join their distributed team. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications for their energy management platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy innovative solutions that drive our mission of sustainability and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and testing robust Java applications in a distributed environment
  • Collaborating with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implementing containerised solutions using Kubernetes and Docker for deployment and orchestration
  • Utilising AWS services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications
  • Optimising application performance and ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and continuously improving development processes
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and Microservices principles
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
