Collinson Grant is a firm of Management Consultants. As a family-owned business, we have been helping organisations to restructure, merge acquisitions, cut costs, increase profit, and manage people for more than 50 years. Our clients are leading FTSE250 and private equity owned organisations throughout Europe, North America, and the public sector.


Our assignments nearly all have one thing in common – every client is connected – most typically a recommendation, enduring relationship or project. We have worked for some of our clients for more than 30 years.


Most of our work is about organisation, costs and people. We know how to:


  • design and install better business processes
  • restructure
  • set up new managerial and financial controls
  • get better performance from overheads
  • create efficient supply chains
  • manage people.


We work in various sectors, including Aerospace, Chemical, Construction and Building Materials, Defence, Energy, Engineering, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing. Our work requires a significant amount of travel.


Our ambitions now demand more Management Consultants to join our team.


Skills and experience


Collinson Grant is seeking experienced and dynamic management consultants specialising in productivity and cost reduction. With a reputation for delivering high-impact solutions that drive efficiency and profitability, we are looking for a professionals who:


  • have at least five years of experience in management consulting, with a proven track record in productivity enhancement and cost reduction
  • can bring innovative strategies and practical expertise to help our clients achieve operational excellence
  • have strong problem solving skills
  • have experience in reducing direct labour unit costs, reducing unit material costs, and managing large-scale projects (including planning, execution, and monitoring)
  • have the personal credibility to engage with executives on the boards of leading organisations
  • can develop and implement organisational design and change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and optimise business processes
  • have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain robust and long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • are able to adapt to varying client needs and work environments
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • have a bachelor's degree, ideally from a Russell Group university.


You will now be looking to use this knowledge and experience by working for a long-established and well-respected consultancy with international clients and challenging assignments.


Our work is primarily in profit improvement through organisational design, productivity and process improvement, restructuring, and post-acquisition integration. However, we work in all areas of business improvement and we prefer to implement our recommendations ourselves.

The relationships we forged in assignments lead to other work and new relationships, which creates more work. Many of our clients today know us because of a sequence of assignments throughout our 50-year history.
