This is an opportunity to join a specialist team operating across corporate and real estate transactions, with exposure to complex bilateral and syndicated deals.The role sits within a close-knit lending operations team responsible for the end-to-end operational management of a diverse portfolio. From pre-settlement through to maturity, you will play a key role in ensuring transactions are accurately set up, settled, administered (using LoanIQ) and monitored in line with internal risk frameworks and documentation.Working closely with front office, legal, risk and finance stakeholders, you will support deal execution and lifecycle management, gaining deep exposure to primary and secondary loan activity in a professional, high-standards environment.Key responsibilitiesOperational ownership of bilateral and syndicated loan transactions from pre-settlement through maturityDeal setup, booking and ongoing administration within a corporate loan systemProcessing utilisations, rollovers, interest payments (cash and PIK), repayments and prepaymentsNavigating loan documentation to support funding, cash flows and lifecycle eventsManaging borrower covenants and information undertakingsSupporting KYC requests, conflicts checks and internal approvalsSettling secondary loan trades, both manually and via market platforms such as ClearParLiaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate execution of transactionsCandidate profile6 months to 2 years’ experience in loan administration, lending operations or loan agencyExperience supporting corporate lending transactions within a bank, fund, advisory firm or loan servicerStrong attention to detail, organisation and time management skillsComfortable working to deadlines in a controlled, regulated environmentConfident numerical ability with strong Excel skillsDegree educated in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline preferred This role is well-suited to someone early in their career who is looking to deepen their exposure to principal finance and complex lending transactions within a high-quality institutional environment.
