Functional Safety Intern

This is a wonderful internship opportunity for those who are passionate about developing skills and knowledge about improving the safety and security of forthcoming autonomous vehicles and building the future of computing.
We seek a dedicated individual to join the Arm Functional Safety Team for a one-year internship.
What a Functional Safety Intern will be doing?
- Develop automatic tools to improve quality, increase efficiency, and mitigate potential risks.
- Coordinate delivery of training courses and events.
- Lead improvement initiatives working together with the diverse worldwide engineering community.
Opportunities to support development:
- Training in Functional Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Opportunity to collaborate with functional groups from across Arm.
- Opportunity to lead process improvement projects.
- Practical experience with many tools, including AI.
- Being part of an inclusive and dynamic team.
Currently enrolled and studying towards a Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management.
Other subjects are welcome with relevant passion and experience.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:

- Curious, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to focus with high attention to detail.
- Experience in Functional Safety will help the application to stand out, but not essential.

Arm Internships require interns to be enrolled in a higher education degree and return to their course after the internship/placement. Those who graduate in 2025, will not be eligible for an Intern role, but will be eligible for our graduate roles.
