This is a Permanent position for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join an International Business with offices based in Maidenhead.

This company have a worldwide presence and supply products to a wide range of customers.

Description

The Commercial Legal Counsel position will involve the following tasks:

  • Review, draft, and advise on a range of commercial contracts including supply, distribution and service contracts
  • Supporting the contracts across the EMEA region
  • Reviewing and drafting legal documents for marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring GDPR/ Data privacy compliance
  • Work on projects related to Competition Law
  • Assisting with signing and closing procedures
  • Involvement in business projects
  • Carrying out legal research as required

Profile

The successful candidate for the Commercial Legal Counsel position will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Be a qualified solicitor (UK, European or common law jurisdictions will be considered)
  • 5 years PQE
  • Have strong experience of working with commercial contracts
  • Experience of drafting contracts for customers or suppliers outside of the UK
  • Experience of data privacy would be an advantage
  • Understanding of competition law would be an advantage
  • Be able to work independently
