About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Creative to take a leadership role in developing and delivering unique experiential projects. This role involves managing the creative process from concept to execution, overseeing a team of designers and freelancers, and working closely with strategists to develop compelling pitch strategies. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in experiential design and a strong creative vision, coupled with an understanding of current trends and a meticulous eye for detail. You'll report directly to our Head of Creative, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall creative objectives.
Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership & Strategy
- Develop innovative concepts that align with client briefs, infusing creativity and insight to produce impactful experiential ideas.
- Use strategic insights to ensure creative direction meets client objectives and reflects current trends.
- Prepare engaging presentations to communicate creative strategies, concepts, and designs to clients.
- Lead pitches, clearly articulating project vision and strategic approach.
- Team Management
- Guide and mentor the design team, including both permanent and freelance talent, to maintain a high standard of work.
- Handle team resourcing, onboarding freelance designers as needed, and provide day-to-day feedback and support.
- Project Development & Production Oversight
- Collaborate with production teams to translate design concepts into tangible experiences, overseeing the project from design to execution.
- Approve design samples, provide feedback, and create sample mood boards to ensure creative consistency.
- Sourcing & Styling
- Assist in creating and refining mood boards for projects, ensuring all materials, props, and furniture meet the aesthetic standards of the project.
- Trend Awareness
- Keep up with industry trends, particularly within experiential design, and share insights with the team to inspire fresh ideas.
- Contribute to maintaining our agency’s leading edge by integrating these insights into project work.
- Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and ensuring projects push creative boundaries.
- Keep clear communication with production, fabrication, and design teams to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a creative role within an experiential agency, including at least one year in a leadership role.
Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing work across mediums, especially in immersive experiences and installations.
Skills: Proven ability to create, pitch, and present compelling creative ideas; strong understanding of design-to-production processes.
Trends: Up-to-date knowledge of experiential trends and innovations within the industry.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for effective client, team, and stakeholder engagement.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Circa £50K - £60K
