Temporary Administrator - Configuration Management SupportLocation: Gosport, Hampshire, PO13 9XARate: £13.43 per hourStart Date: ASAP, upon completion of complianceDuration: 12 monthsHours: 37.5 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:
  • Support the everyday workings of the Configuration Management team on behalf of the Account Lead Configuration Manager.
  • Assist with the identification and documentation of software purchases and licences, working in liaison with the Purchasing team.
  • Provide updates to the central repository for all software licences in use by the account.
  • Provide accurate management information when requested and in a timely manner.
  • Answer queries and resolve problems as referred by the Help Desk.
  • Maintain Software Asset and Configuration Management procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Support with the administration of IT Change Enablement, assisting with the agenda, recording decisions/actions/observations, and distributing.
Key Skills:
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and data management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison and problem-solving.
  • Time Management: Efficient in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software asset and configuration management tools and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to address and resolve queries and issues efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and IT departments.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to support and maintain structured processes and work instructions.
