They are an ambitious and fast-growing group who are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. With operations in both the UK and the US, this is an ideal role for someone who wants to develop technical capability, gain international exposure, and play a meaningful part in supporting a business during an exciting period of growth and change.In this position you will work with an outstanding Financial Controller/Head of Finance, covering three companies and offering a broad blend of operational finance and higher-level analytical work. It鈥檚 a fantastic stepping stone for someone looking to progress into a Finance Manager role in the near future.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee transactional activities completed by the Accounts Executive (AP/AR, expenses, bank reconciliations).Own and support month-end close processes including accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations.Ensure accurate and complete financial records across all group entities.Manage intercompany reconciliations and uphold strong controls aligned with auditor expectations.Prepare monthly management accounts for review by senior leadership.Conduct meaningful variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process across the group.Support the SMT/SLT with deeper analysis (profitability, investment cases, cash flow planning).Enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.Support ongoing system development and automation projects.馃専 About YouAAT qualified and actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA.Strong Excel capability (pivots, lookups, data analysis, building reports).Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Comfortable balancing operational tasks with strategic analysis.Confident interpreting financial data and presenting findings clearly.Able to communicate well with colleagues at all levels.Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to contribute beyond the basics.Motivated to progress, broaden experience, and eventually step into a Finance Manager role.馃巵 What鈥檚 on OfferFull study support (exam leave + financial contributions).Exposure to group accounting and international operations.Genuine progression opportunities as the business continues to scale.Chance to influence processes and reporting in a growing, evolving finance team.Supportive environment that values development, inclusion, and well-being.Why Join?This organisation offers the chance to step into a fast-growing, forward-thinking environment where a Management Accountant can make a genuine impact from day one.
