We drive JERA’s renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As a global renewables IPP working across the life cycle of renewables, we are looking for key talent to be an active part of this exciting journey as the business grows further.

The role will be based in London and will require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Green Headquarters in the UK and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium.


We are seeking a Origination and Tender Officer to reinforce its business development department and work alongside some of the world’s leading offshore energy experts, while learning, growing and building a sustainable future.

Your role:


As an Origination and Tender Officer you will coordinate tender processes from A to Z in line with the expansion strategy of Parkwind by:


  • Identifying potential new markets by conducting thorough market analyses taking into consideration different influences: political, financial, legal, technical, environmental,…;
  • Building business models in Excel to evaluate opportunities through scenario analysis;
  • Screen markets and opportunities
  • Build and maintain an industry network
  • Assisting in the preparation of business cases and recommendations for the management team;
  • Gathering the necessary input from different internal departments (Finance, Legal, Engineering,…) and external partners to prepare tenders and business cases;
  • Building and maintaining a close collaboration with the Project Teams and internal stakeholders;
  • Initiating contact with potential partners.


Your profile:


  • You obtained a Master’s degree (preferably in economics);
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience – experience with business modelling is a must;
  • You possess excellent analytical skills and have a very good knowledge of Excel;
  • You can build solid business relations with the necessary stakeholders;
  • You have strong networking skills and can deliver a ‘to the point’ presentation;
  • You have a sense of ownership and can perform under strict deadlines;
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and are motivated to travel.
