Description
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting tasks
- Processing invoices and managing payment processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Performing regular financial analysis
- Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures
- Participating in internal audits and implementing recommended changes
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Offer
- Potential for the role to become permanent
- An hourly rate between £12ph and £13ph
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
- Office based in East Kilbride (easily accessible by public transport however there is parking on site)
- Comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role
