Job Title: Childrens Social Worker Referral and AssessmentLocation: BoltonPay Rate: 40 per hourJob Description:Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate Childrens Social Worker to join our clients Referral & Assessment Team in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families by providing timely high-quality assessments and interventions.What will your responsibilities beIn this role you will:Receive and screen referrals from professionals families or the public.Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.Liaise with police schools health services and other agencies to gather information.Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.Maintain accurate records and ensure timely responses to referrals.Qualifications & Experience:To be successful in this role you must have:Social Work England registrationEligible to work in the UKHold a full UK driving licencePost-qualified experienceDegree level or equivalent in Social WorkWhy Liquid PersonnelFree DBS and compliance serviceTwice weekly payroll and Faster Pay service getting you paid more quicklyAccess to exclusive roles that arent available from other agenciesFree access to Liquids exclusive social work training and CPD portalYour own dedicated consultant with extensive social work knowledgeAccess to a wide selection of social work positions across the UKRefer a Friend bonus get 500 for each social worker you refer who we successfully place*Find your own job bonus get 250 for bringing your own position to us *Liquid Personnel is an equal opportunities employer.
