Job title: Production Equipment Assistant (Heavy lifting)

Reports to: Production Equipment Manager

  

Summary of role: Based in our warehouse in south-east London, you will work closely with our Production team based on Brewery Road N7. You will work with our Production Equipment Manager to manage the packing of our production kits, the ordering of additional equipment and ensure the kits are delivered to set & on time for each shoot. You will support in the organisation of all equipment, ensure everything is clean and in working order, manage stock & ordering in additional supplies as needed.

• Good telephone/email manner. 

• Motivated; ensuring all daily tasks are completed to the utmost standard. 

• Flexibility to work your hours around delivery collection and return times. 

• Have a positive, can-do outlook. 

• Communicate effectively in high-pressure situations. 

• Be unafraid to ask questions. 

• Use initiative and be proactive in everything you do. 

• Proficient with computers; able to learn current RMS as a stock software.  

 

Responsibilities & Duties:  

• Organise the production kit to go out under supervision. 

• Manual handling as you may be required to move and lift a heavy load.

• Arrange the return of the kit with the production team. Tidy and clean the kits on their return and store them in their relevant place. 

• Keep track of stock and ensure kit is replenished ahead of it being needed. 

• A key holder to the warehouse, opening and locking up as necessary. 

• Ensure all kit is fully stocked, clean, well presented and in working order before it goes on set. 

• Do regular upkeep checks on kit to ensure all is working, and arrange for broken kit to be fixed or replaced. 

• Ensure all kit is branded so it’s not misplaced, raise any missing kit with the producers to find it, or replace kit where necessary. 

• Responsibility for delivery and storage of client product, ensuring it is sent out for the relevant shoot.  

• Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse space, ensuring it’s always tidy and well maintained. 

• Ensuring Health & Safety measures are followed at all times. 

• Any other such duties that may be required from time to time relevant to your role. 

• Ad hoc equipment requests.
