About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for potential customers. Your primary focus will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities by engaging with prospects, introducing them to our eLearning solutions, and scheduling demos for our Business Development team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to make an impact in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research potential clients in industries requiring health and safety training (e.g., construction, manufacturing, healthcare).
- Use tools like LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to generate new leads via structured outreach cadences.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Initial Outreach:
- Conduct personalised outreach via email campaigns, cold calls, and social media connections.
- Clearly communicate the value of Human Focus’s eLearning solutions and address prospects’ compliance and safety needs.
- Qualifying Prospects:
- Conduct needs assessments to understand potential clients’ challenges and align solutions accordingly.
- Schedule product demos or meetings for the sales team, ensuring smooth handoffs.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies and feedback loops.
- Share insights on customer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and pipeline activities in HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
- Regularly review metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills Required
· 1+ year of experience in sales, telemarketing, or a customer-facing role is preferred; however, candidates with no prior experience who demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
· Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and lead management tools is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer-focused attitude.
· Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
